Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is pleased to continue our webinar series showcasing the Waste Reduction and Management Division’s Grant and Contribution funding recipients whose projects focus on food waste prevention and diversion. These sessions are designed to provide professionals and practitioners a convenient and accessible learning platform to stay up-to-date with the latest research, resources and best practices from across Canada. The information shared is intended to help strengthen collective efforts to minimize food and other organic waste disposal in Canadian landfills.

Our webinar is focusing on food waste prevention and diversion outside the home, and in the spaces where we live, work, and play. During this session, we’ll hear from the Recycling Council of Alberta, the City of Vancouver, the National Zero Waste Council, and the City of Saskatoon, on the objectives and findings from their projects.
