Plastics recycling: Definitions, measuring, and reporting
The new National Standard of Canada, CSA R117:24, developed with support from the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), aims to establish common definitions of recycling to bring clarity, accuracy, and transparency into measuring, reporting, and verifying the performance of recycling processes and operations. This can help improve recycling outcomes, create a more stable recycled plastics market, and enable collaboration among all plastic value chain participants.
